Ellie and James’s walled garden spring wedding was my first wedding of 2023 and what a gorgeous day it was! Not only did the weather come through (all thanks to Ellie planting a sausage in her parent’s garden the night prior) but everything ran like clockwork on the day.
Their wedding took place in Ellie’s family village of Helperby. The church service was held in the village church and guests were then shuttled by bus to the Walled Garden at Helperby where they were greeted with sparkling wine and pints of beer which they enjoyed outside listening to live music while playing lawn games.
Everyone then drifted into a beautiful sailcloth marquee where they were treated to a delicious spring sharing feast while surrounded by a cloud of beautiful English country garden themed florals. The marquee smelt and looked absolutely divine thanks to the wonderful Hannah at Aelisabeth Flowers who captured Ellie’s springtime vision to perfection. Guests then let their hair down in the evening as they danced the night away to a live band.
The amazing team who made Ellie and James’s spring walled garden wedding day possible.
